Hi all, first post here on this forum. I love the layout, looks really nice.

I just purchased an out of box HDD camcorder, it's missing everything including the battery and whatever software/cables it came with. I had a firewire cable that fit, and bought a battery, already had adobe premiere cs and cyberlink power director software, but still am unable to copy anything from this camcorder to my computer. It connects and windows recognizes it, asks me what I want to do with it, and then nothing works after that. None of the stop/play/record controls work. I'm not able to even just plain copy the raw files from the camcorder to my computer.

I've tried in both DV and CBR1440 format settings on the iLink output port. Do I need to put the camera into a certain "mode" before connecting to the computer? Maybe I need different drivers? Maybe there are different versions of the iLink cable?

Any suggestions are welcome.
