I have a Sony HDR-HC3 which has been working well for around a year. A few weeks ago I noticed a problem with its focus.
When the optical zoom is further than about 95%, the camera fails to focus. I have tested this in bright light conditions, cleaned it, tried manual focus to no avail. If the optical zoom is less than 95%, the infinite focal distance seems to work find.
If my lens broken? Do you think there is any chance of taking it apart and solving this problem?
