Hello guys,

I am building a house with a dedicated theatre room and due to the screen size and towers, I have nowhere to put my subwoofer. I was going to put them along side the towers but I will be 5" too long.

I was thinking about having a cutout so that I can push the sub in the wall so it won't stick out. This will be on the side wall next to the towers. Would this hinder the sound in anyway if I was to do this. This way the sub will be flush with the wall. I am looking at the PB12plus/2 SVS sub.

Thanks

ThanksThe +/2 is rear ported, so you can't push the back into a hole. 5" to long in what way? If you have the width, you can turn it/them sideways as the +/2 is down-firing.
