Here is one for you all.....

I recently noticed that when I try to play a DVD with subtitles, that they do not display properly. It skips words, and sometimes sentences.

I have a Sony KE-42TS2U 42" plasma HD TV.

I know it isn't my DVD player, I used more than one, and I know it isn't the DVD, because it works correctly in my laptop. Things used to work fine, but now it does not work. To make it more weird, it seems to happen with foreign movies and not as much with english language movies. :confused:

Has anyone heard of this happening? And/or know what I can do? I would like to avoid buying a new TV.
