Here's my question(s).. I have recently purchased a 47 inch LCD TV. I am having HD satellite tv installed in a few days. They said they are brining component RGB cables.

With my 27 inch tube tv, I used AV cables to go to my receiver and then used 1 VID cable to go out to the TV and everything (wii, dvd/vcr, reg satellite) was just hooked up to the receiver. I therefor had to use the receiver to switch between the components.

With the addition of the new 47 inch and HD satellite, and newer DVD with better connections on the back..... This is what Im wondering about.

SHould I just hook up the HD satellite through RGB to the back of my receiver, same thing with wii and DVD, then just run monitor out from the receiver RGB cables to the 47 inch? and just use the receiver the way I always have and keep my TV just on one input...... or

Plug everything into my TV and just run audio out to the receiver. Just switching it so that I changed the input on the tv instead of my receiver?

Would this last way give a better picture instead of running it through the receiver first?

Thanks in advance for the help! I appreciate it

Simple answer is going to be try it both ways and see if there is a difference. Too many variables in your system to give you a solid answer.
