Yesterday I purchased the Sony KDL-40W4100 LCD TV at Circuit City and it has sparkles that appears on the screen. I'm now thinking of exchanging it for the Panasonic TH-42PZ80U Plasma TV. Do you think it is a good idea for to exchange tvs?

.. i'd take it back, get a refund and purchase the Samsung 50A550 or Panasonic 50PZ85U (from amazon) for the same amount & much better overall. :)

add: if 50" is too large, Panasonic has the 46" PZ85U and a 42" PZ85U; their top model 42" "800U" can also be purchased for your price point.
