Hi,

I have a wall-mounted Plasma TV set with a "LFE" output jack. I want to buy a soon to be purchased Sub-Woofer (S-W) to connect to this WIRELESSLY. I want the S-W to be situated in a different corner of the room than the TV set, so it can be hidden behind a piano that's over there. (Per wife's edict!)

Can anyone recommend a very high quality wireless transmitter/receiver "kit" of some sort to accomplish my goal? If possible, I would like it to be from a "name brand" company with a good reputation, and not a "fly by night" company. I do have a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi computer network and 4.8 GHz wireless phones in operation throughout the house, so there can be no interference allowed.

Appreciate the help!

The brand-new HSU ULS15 come with a wireless interface.

I don't know if there are any hook-ups that are sold separately.

could two be used to send a signal to a set of rear powered surrounds + a subwoofer?

could two be used to send a signal to a set of rear powered surrounds + a subwoofer? If you are asking about what Kal linked to, provided you have surround outputs, yes. Note that each "unit" comes with the necessary equipment to connect a pair of speakers. And if you are using a receiver as the output source, you will probably need another of the USB power units for the speaker/sub end of things. And you will need additional cabling, too.

Note, also, that the AW-1 introduces a 20ms delay which can be compensated for with most AVRs and pre/pros.
