Hi,

I need some technical help regarding some marine electronics and video scalers. I have a Raymarine e120 with a vga video out. I want to display this image on my lcd tv. The Raymarine unit will output the signal at 56hz and a resolution of 800x600. My Toshiba Regza will only recognize:

vga 640x480 60hz
svga 800x600 60hz
xga 1024x768 60hz

When I connect the unit via the pc input I get a "signal not supported" on the Toshiba screen.

Any ideas? Scaler? ????

Thank you

You sure on the 56Hz? It sounds a bit off...usually they are 50, or 60 (more common for the US)?

800*600@56Hz was a common VESA norm back in the years....

Yes, 56hz. Any way to change it with a converter.
