hello,
I have a mediagate MG350HD and it plays avi files etc.. fine, and I can happily copy these files from my PC via USB, however since I have had a replacement unit (the first was defective) my remote control unit has gone walkabout and hence I have not been able to setup my wireless network settings to be able to copy files via NDAS....At least I can navigate through the file selection using the front panel...however is there a way to set up my unit with my wireless network ssid & password without the remote control?
kind regards
Henry

Hi Henry,

The short answer is NO,you need the 350's remote control to enter the setup area..

I have created a FAQ over at the main Airlinktek support site , detailing using "third party" remote controls on Mediagate units - I hope it helps you a little..

Kind Regards
