can you use car subs outside? like not in a car? out in the open?

if so, i was looking for a nice budget sub under $200 including box, and amp... i have my eye on these http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3115_Visonik+Amplifier+%2B+Amp+Kit+%2B+2+10-+Subwoofers+%2B+Box+Super+Thump+Package-.html

now i know what your thinking VISONIK ARE YOU CRAZY?
they aren't for a car or for show... im mounting these on my moped, ganna be a crazy job im willing to work on, i have some speakers/tweeters on it and i thought it would be time to stick a sub there.

Of course you can use them out in the open. Unfortunately, without being inside the enclosed space of an automobile, you're not going to get the best extension from it.

Moped, eh. =) A 50cc moped motor produces a maximum of 2 horsepower, and most of that is used for motive force. You're not going to have enough watts left over to charge the big battery you need to drive that subwoofer. =)
