So I'm on a tight budget and have been slowly piecing together a starter system.

My current 3.0 system:
Receiver: Pioneer VSX-517k
Fronts: Polk R50s
Center: Polk CSR

I finally have a chance to add a subwoofer to the system, but have no idea where to start. One major limitation is that the sub must be ordered off of amazon.com. I can't justify spending money on a sub right now, but I received some amazon gift certificates which I'd like to use.

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

1. Your budget - I'd prefer to keep it under $250 shipped.

2. Size requirements/limits - Nothing too huge, but I should be able to make most sizes work.

3. Room dimensions - My set up is currently in a loft that is open to the area below. The room is about 15x12. The roof is angled with one side at 10 feet with the other side at about 13. The top few feet of the higher side is windows, but below that is open to the space down below. I'm not too sure how this design affects things.

4. Primary uses - 95% TV/movies and 5% gaming.

5. Listening habits - I'm not too sure. I don't listen to things too loud but certain movies definitely get pumped up a little bit. I don't have audiophile ears, but want something nice.

6. Appearance requirements - I'd prefer that it looks finished and nice, but I'm not too concerned.

7. Timeframe - I'd prefer a sub not on backorder and one I can order in the next few days.
