I finally took a look at some front projectors over the weekend and the only one that seems that fits the bill is the Epson. The only criteria is that it has to be 1080p and DLP.

Are Epsons any good, if not, where else do I need to look.

Why, may I ask, does it have to be DLP?

It used to be that DLP was the king of contrast, but we have gotten to the point thats not necessarily true anymore. DLP is still very good, but LCD and LCos projectors are also very good and typically are cheaper than DLP.

You need to audition a LCD, LCoS and DLP projector to see the differences in technology.
