Well, it's the first game that comes to mind when I think of the PS3.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate it a 12!

a little short, but overall very well done... use the 25% off GS coupon this week and snag it for cheap... it is worth it.

don't buy into any of the numbers rating. they just cheapen your own opinion when you're ready to decide for yourself.

it's a very fun game that is very well done. one of the best on the ps3 so far.

8. The short length encourages finishing the game during a rental. If it was a few hours longer I think it would have gathered a much larger following. I think games of this type should ideally be about as long as RE:4 (which I considered a perfect length), so about 20hrs or so.

It's not "short." Gears of War is short. Ico is short. Neither of those games is bad because of that.

Uncharted is roughly 10 hours in length. And, from beginning to end, it's non-stop brilliant game design, beautiful environments, great action sequences, best cover/shoot system out there, and is highly replayable.

It isn't the greatest or most original game ever made, but it's easily one of the most fun and best designed.

Gotta disagree with this part- whenever I popped out of cover it took me a moment to realign my aim to shoot and I'd usually get hit once or twice. A simple crosshair while under cover would fix this.

Uncharted is a good game, but does not have one original bone in its body. It's essentially a collection of the good parts of hit games of the recent past paired with best-of-the-generation graphics and tech, brought together to form some sort of Frankenstein-like monster of solid but derivative gaming.

With decimals, I'd say 9.6

My only complaints are the screen tearing and that the enemies are poorly designed/implemented.

I don't think they hard to kill.

I just think their detection of the player is too great, and once they detect the player, they're crack shots, no matter what distance you are from them, they can get an easy shot in less than a second. Also, there's like a billion that look exactly the same.

It's far from perfect... the game is too short, and a harder difficulty + idols isn't enough to make the second playthrough nearly as enjoyable as the first.

However, at the end of the day, it's still easily in the top 5% of video game titles and I've probably recommended this game to more people than MGS4, GTA4, R&C and CoD4.

As others have said the adventure's a little on the short side; I finished the game in under 10 hours and I tend to take my time. And while the 720p visuals look very nice there are better looking games out there. However, the gameplay (which is what really matters) is fantastic and other than a somewhat cheap final encounter it was a joy to play through with very precise and responsive controls. Shooting accurately does take a while to master; but once you invest a little time and get comfortable with the control scheme it's all very managable.

Given the dearth of quality exclusive titles on the PS3, this one was worth the purchase and is a definite keeper for me. I'd score it an 8.75 / 10.

I'd give a 9. It is short and has no multiplayer but it is replayable on higher difficulties. Also worth hunting for the 60 treasures. Sadly I have still only found about 40 of them. The gameplay is enjoyable and the story keeps it all moving forward at a nice pace.

I'd give it a good solid 9 out of 10. I just (finally) got around to finishing it last night. Very good experience and a game I'd highly recommend for any PS3 owner.

It would have made the game too easy and too much of a frag-fest (a la Gears of War).

Uncharted (especially on Crushing difficulty) is an impressively technical and challenging third-person shooter. As I got better at the game, I didn't need any reticule while in cover, but unlike other games with cover systems, you gotta get good enough first!

I like the game, but the first hr was too much puzzle solving & plat forming for my taste. Never liked Tomb raider.. I am glad this game is way more forgiving the tomb raider in the jumping area.. I'm on chapter 5.. Played about 4 hrs last night..

Um, no Gears is about the same length on insane setting. Lets just blatantly ignore the fact also that Gears has multiplayer that can keep you busy for months. Uncharted is SHORT, and has hardly any replay value. Its one of the major disappointments in an otherwise terrific game. I would recommend anyone to just rent the game, play through it on normal setting, and return it. Its a terrific story with fun levels and awesome audio, but its short and playing on the harder settings is just not that much fun (like someone else mentioned too many tedious/awkward gunfights).

I give it an 8. It was a good game and all, but it didn't really do it for me.

at the time, a 10. but now that the ps3 finally has some games out, i would drop it to a 9.

btw, i really wish they would announce the sequel already.

crap, they make the jak games so i'm sure a new version of that is holding up the development of the new uncharted game.

My type of game... I give RE4 a 10 and Uncharted a slightly lower score because of the length: 9.5

It's a very solid 8 IMO , I dropped a point for replay value so if you are looking for something to rent then consider it about a 9 ;) . There are very few 10's out there , I mean is there really such a thing as a PERFECT game .

Amazing game IMO and I am not easily impressed , I would say it is one of the best PS3 games (certainly in the top 3) .

I would rate it among the must have games of this generation. Graphics is among the best, i find it hard to mention a game that looks better. R&C and GT5 comes to mind but they are more clinical. GOW as well but i could not complete that game because i got so fed up with the corridor "duck and cover" rinse repeat a million times. GOW2 will be better, i am sure.

The Jeep run was insanely awesome. If I had to rate the game on this scene alone it would be a solid 9.9

It's a 10/10 for me. No game is perfect, so that's not what my 10 means; it simply is a reflection of how much fun I had with it compared to 99% of the other games I've played. This generation only Uncharted and Team Fortress 2 on the PC have a 10 rating from what I've played.

I was completely absorbed in the story, characters, graphics, and especially the game play. Extremely polished all the way around. I've beaten it twice watching all the cutscenes again, and held off on a third round (which I never do to most games) so I could forget the enemy patterns once I fire it up on the hardest mode with turbo difficulty on. I find out trophies are coming, so I'm glad I waited. I look forward to going through it again.

Maybe its because I'm a HUGE Indiana Jones fan that I took to it so well. And as another compliment to the game, sadly it was better than the Indy IV flick (which I liked, but not as much). Very few games of any genre have had as satisfying of a story.

The vehicles were the best part of the game. (well teh graphics were but the play of the vehicles was great).

Once on Hard...then went back on easy to find the missing treasures, awards (wasn't a real play through on easy). Then I did Crushing just because I had so much fun. Especially finding out the secrets to clearing the Hard rooms.;) As for replay...had a blast. And as a testament to the fun factor, my wife even played the whole game on Easy. She watched me play and wanted a crack at it. The only trouble she had as a non-gamer, was depth perception for jumps and cliffs. But I'm seeing that problem arise for her in the Lego Indiana Jones game too.

I would rate it around 9.5. Games DON'T have to have MP to them but it surely does help. I don't see this game working with MP and in fact would actually reduce the score. It's a killer title that all PS3 owners should play through at least once.

It has plenty of replay value if you want to unlock everything.. & Short? I'm half way through & took me 8 hrs.. I am taking my time though..

Aside from the stupid zombies implementation and the linearity of the level,
I would rate it a solid 9. Sound is excellent, and graphics are perfect for that kind of color
saturation but it needs a little work. Combat and fire needs an overhaul also.

I'd give it a solid 9/10. I played through the game on three difficulty levels, which is something I almost never do for single player games. Also, everything is implemented so well that the game's brevity is forgivable; I received far more enjoyment from the 30 hours of Uncharted gameplay than I did from 75 hours of GTA IV.

Serious? The graphics, while pretty, are oversaturated and not as good as Gears or COD4 for that matter. The gameplay mechanics and physics are awkward at best. Making precise moves on ledges is impossible, and aiming is quirky. The puzzles are way too simple save for 1 or 2 of them.

I love the game and enjoyed playing it, but I honestly dont understand why some folks think its flawless. To each their own though.
