I can confirm there is an uncompressed 5.1 pcm track on the disc.

I have it. Not sure what benchmark to use for the PQ but the concert is fantastic. I've listened to it over a dozen times now and it still amazes me. The only mediocre track is the one featuring Kenny G.

I have the BD. As with many 5.1 or 7.1 concert mixes (even w/lossless), I find the center channel vocals recorded too low (compared to feature film mixes). The Tuscany concert is no different....Bocelli's vocals are spread over the front effects channels, instead of being prioritized discreetly in the center stage, where they should be :( ...a pity, since it's such great concert.

Good feedback.

I noticed that this concert is 1.33 aspect...

I would love to see a Sarah Brightman release on Blu Ray.

I'm not sure where you read that this Blu is in 4x3, but it is not. It is standard 16x9 HD (1080i if I remember correctly). BTW - - Andrea also has a DVD that was recorded near Las Vegas and it to is 16x9.

My wife and I both thought that this was an excellent concert. We did not have a problem with the audio, but I did not get up to the front speakers to see if Andrea's voice was present in all the up-front channels. Oddly, I have one concert Blu where the solo artist voice is mixed to the left & right channels and not to the middle at all (it was the same on the DVD release).

I got 1.33 from Amazon.. Good to know it is Widescreen. Thanks.

Got to watch it.

What a beautiful performance at the most gorgeous outdoor setting in Tuscany. So many talented guests. Sarah Brightman, Lang Lang (amazing piano solo, Heather Headley, Elise, Kenny G, others. All Bocelli's hits and more.

Gorgeous PCM 5.1. Well recorded vocals. Very good PQ

Returned to Netflix and ordered a copy from Amazon. A must in any live library.

Highest recommendation!!! Loved it.

Video: 4.5/5
Audio 4.5/5

We disagreed over 'District 9' and 'The Hangover' but at least we are in agreement over this. ;)

I was really hoping they were going to release his recent PBS Christmas special with David Foster on Blu-ray in time for the holidays. As I'm sure you're aware that didn't happen. :(

Well, we like what we like and sometimes we agree.

I simply loved this performance. I cannot wait to get my own copy.:)

This is one of my concert favorites on BD, as well. The Bocelli along with Eagles Farewell (HD-DVD) and Moody Blues are in pretty steady rotation. The Cream HD-DVD gets regular play, also. I'll never part with my trusty HD-DVD players until the Eagles and Cream discs are released on BD. I just picked-up the David Foster BD which also includes a Bocelli segment, but haven't had a chance to view it yet.

That's true.

Amazon was selling this for $17.99 a few weeks ago, but the price has risen since. A must own disc IMHO.

IMHO it's a great disc in its music content and for its PQ/AQ. Mr. Bocelli and Katherine McPhee (who is smokin' hot) sang "The Prayer" IIRC.
