Ok, so my PS3 does some weird/interesting stuff every so often. Here is my settup:

PS3 ---> H/K 247 via HDMI for video and audio (audio set to PCM)

From H/K -----> Sony 1080i LCD project TV via HDMI

I have noticed that when I want to use the PS3, the only way to get it to display anything on the TV is to first turn the PS3 on, then my receiver, then my TV. If I have my receiver and TV on first while playing 360 for example, then turn the ps3 on and switch to the PS3 input on my receiver, nothing gets displayed...... handshake? whats going on?

Also I sometimes get the video to playback fine, but there is no audio when playing a bluray disc, there will be audio in the PS home menu, but nothing for the blruay disc, I have to reboot the receiver and sometimes the PS3 when this happens..... WTF?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You may be able to work around that by running the audio/video set up on the PS3. This should reinitialize the handshake.

I had no audio on my pano once and this worked.
