Thanks for a great forum so far in my lurking!
I have a question for all my fellow Mac Users:

I run mostly audio recording/editing software, on an Intel Mac Pro 8-core, with an ATI 2600XT video card that outputs HDMI(with 5.1audio!), when using the ATI 6141054300G DVI-HDMI adapter.

I am looking to buy a new display above 40", and wish to use the stock speakers on the display, when I choose, as yet another reference point for mix translation(AKG K-701, Genelec 8050's, Apple iPod earbuds, TV speakers).

I also wish to use it to watch cable and DVD's(SD).

So I ask everyone, what display would you recommend ?
And if possible, why?
I would prefer the best possible quality of picture and sound,
but am always very interested in great bargains/value.
