I did some searching here and didn't see anything answering this or others experiencing this, but lately - say the last 2 months - I'm experiencing some of my scheduled recording being broken into 2 parts...with one part usually being 2 to 5 minutes long and the other being (for an hour show) about 48 minutes long. This is with TWC if that makes a difference.

Sometimes the 5 minute segment is watchable, other times it throws you right back to the "recorded DVR channel" (like if you hit "EXIT" from the recorded list channel after watching a recorded show) and those 5 minutes are just "gone". Even when you can watch the first 5 minutes, then switch to the 48 minute segment, the two aren't contiguous (48 plus 5 is only 53), so you miss 7 minutes of show between the end of the short segment and the beginning of the long segment.

I only see this on HD content and then only on certain shows - mainly Axe Men, Deadliest Catch, and America's Got Talent....but it doesn't happen every week.

Anyone seen this? Know how to stop it?
