I have them both set to off. I wish it was easy to adjust them while a disc was playing so I could easily compare the effect. Unfortunately you have to stop the disc to get to the setup menu.

What do most people here set them too? Do you set them the same for BR/HD DVD as well as SD DVD?

Left them both off. I see no use of them.

I leave them both off for both BD/HD DVD's and SD's. The sharpness setting makes some ugly ringing artifacts.

Agreed leave them both off, some have used them at low settings for their SD DVDs, but for Blu-rays\HD DVDs its not needed.....I personally havent turned them on since I bought the unit...
