Is there any plasma TV that can be set to shutter like a film projector (so no continuos light) at 23.976Hz?
I'm asking this because I want to see Blu-Rays with perfect motion and superb 3D pop-up.
That is possible only while watching a movie with every frame seen for a short amount of time (0.02 seconds) and followed by a black screen before the next frame.
In a dark room with a small amount of light coming from the TV, it's completely comfortable and a whole new experience.
I can tell you this because I tryed it with the VirtualFX on a PAL TV and it's wonderfull, but I would like to have it with Blu-Ray also and without the shuttering-glasses.

I think the closest you could get is 24p playback at 48hz on the Panasonic 800/850u series

I discovered on this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7e9Z4r1Q_M that Pioneer has a setup menu where you can apply the 23.976 shuttering.
Is it available in current models?
