I'm looking to upgrade my Tosh 40" RPTV and have narrowed it down to one of the Pioneer plasmas.

At a viewing distance of 8.5ft to 9ft, would a 60" plasma be to big? Or would the 50" be better?

My sources would include DVD, over the air SD and HD, some regular cable and hopefully Blu Ray later this year.

Any suggestions?

Depending on room space a 60" Pioneer 6020FD could be ideal.

It depends on your viewing experience preference. Majority will say a 60 would work for you just fine. Pioneer 6020FD or depending on budget the Elite 151FD.

Bigger is always better. I purchased a 5010 from Roman earlier this year, and it's been wonderful. My only regret? That I didn't get a 6010!!

You need to mark off with tape or something on the wall on how big a 50" is and how big a 60" is. Go back to where you would be viewing it mostly and see how you would be taking in the whole picture with both the 50 and 60.
