I recently moved my pioneer sd532 and after setting it up there was a really strange problem with the red crt. When you go into the multi point convergence the red looks very wavy at the bottom left and top right. Like a flag, or the windows logo. It doesnt move.
It was perfect before moving it and we watched a blue ray on it after moving it and that was fine too. The problem cropped up the second day when my wife tried to watch some direct TV.
I can adjust the verticle lines but not the horizontal ones, its like they are perma distorted. The TV is way out of warranty so I downloaded the service manual and went into the guts of the tv. Figuring that possibloy the tube was just not alligned right a friend and I followed the details for after a tube replacement or convergence module replacement and we cant get the picture to align anymore.
No matter what we do (adjusting the yoke , service menu convergence etc) the wave in the corners stays.
Does anyone have an idea what this could be?
