Hello,

I'm running a Onkyo 606 with 5.1 speakers (soon to be 7.1)

I prefair to listen to my itunes in stereo but i would like to add my sub in to the mix

How do i change it from stereo to 2.1

Hopefully a really simple answer.

Stereo mode should use the subwoofer if the main speakers are set to SMALL. Doesn't get any simpler than that.

Hmm... At work, I have the 606 connected to the Sony S500 through HDMI and multi-ch audio out. When I set it to stereo, it comes out as 2.1, and I have the speakers set to large, since we're only using towers...

Would this be affected by the way it's connected?
