This thread will only contain release notes for Pace TDC787X (a.k.a. Aspen) firmware releases. Please don't ask questions on this thread as it is strictly for release notes. Since this is the first release out of the gates, its bug free. ;) On a serious note, there are fixes in this release, but they would only be relevant to beta testers so I won't post them here.

Known problems:

1. After boot, front panel brightness settings may be lost.
2. Closed caption rendering artifacts.

1. Fixed One Moment Please (OMP) when swapping to a tuner. Symptoms also may include missed recordings.

2. Slow forward doesn't work on Music Choice (MC) channels.

3. Diags dashboard shows red on Inband Tuner Errors field (short term error indicator not accurate).

4. Front Panel Brightness Settings lost after reboot.

Audio loss after 7 seconds on some channels (mostly VOD though)
Loss of closed captions after swap from HD to SD.

VOD fix
Audio breakup when playing some VOD content.
Closed captions lost when surfing between SD and HD.
HDD spin down temporarily removed when going into standby.

Time drift causes recordings to start late
Garbaled news ticker on channels such as Fox News/Bloomberg etc.
Screeching audio on HDMI if you surf to an unauthorized channel
False overheating warning
TVG messages show up after being deleted.
TVG messages re-appear in standby after they expire.
A/V dropouts on HDMI after a hot plug.
Seachange VOD client shows One Moment Please (OMP) during navigation.
1 TB and larger drives are now supported.
