Just as the title says. Aside from Planet Earth, what other documentaries do you guys recommend? (With good PQ and AQ of course)

I'm not sure if any of the documentaries have good AQ but the ones that are interesting and have fantastic PQ are:

Galapagos
Ganges
Earth: The Biography
Relentless Enemies

Galapagos is my favorite (when you take Planet Earth out)

Galapagos was very well done. What I've seen of Earth: The Biography is very good, too, although some people are taking issue with some of it (how dare they talk about the climate in a documentary on the Earth!). Though not exactly a documentary, Baraka is coming out in October and should look amazing.

NG's recently released Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure has good PQ, though mostly CGI.

Don't forget Wild China comes out next Tuesday. I'm also getting Human Body: Pushing the Limits, if you are into that.

This is a good list to use:

I would love to see the various Michael Palin travel series (Around the World in 80 days, Pole to Pole, Full Circle, Hemingway Adventure, Sahara, Himalaya, New Europe, etc) on Blu-ray.

Yesterday received my copy of 'Wild China' and watched the first 2 hours: It certainly appears to be one of the better BBC titles out there. At least on par with Planet Earth imo, and with a more consistent PQ.

Visions of the Future hasn't been announced for Blu-ray yet, but it's easily one of the best candidates for Hi-Def treatment both for content and picture.

Another vote for Galapagos. Interesting documentary with stunning PQ.

Not necessarily documentaries but there is a host of BBC dramas and series I'd like to see on Blu Ray such as the six hour version of Pride and Prejudice.

Here's another vote for both Earth: The Biography and Sea Monsters.

Both looked very good (although, Earth was a little inconsistent--they seemed to be using 480p stuff for some of their stock footage).
