I know the Hong Kong release by Edko and the Korean release are a couple of days away but does anyone know if either of these are going to be the uncut, unblurred version of the movie? I know there is a Japanese release in September by a different distributor but I don't have high hopes that it will be untouched.
Thanks in advance.

says "original uncut edition"
Hopefully the DDDHouse listing is correct. I've been to different sites where it states the running time is 159 mins. and some that say 158 mins.

Just saw the Korean Region A version of Lust, Caution. This was completely uncut with one of the best PQ in Blu-ray I've seen to date (I don't see how they could have faked those bed scenes...). Audio isn't too shabby either with original Mandarin in 7.1 PCM or dtsHD MA 7.1. There is English and Korean subtitles (with only couple of typos) and all the extra features are either in English or subtitled. The best part is I got this from Amazon for $24 on their "3 for 2" sale recently.:)
Good to hear xradman. I ended up getting the Edko release from Hong Kong. Still haven't had a chance to watch it yet though. Too busy getting through the Godfather trilogy!

Its called film editing....The bed scenes are completely faked and well edited to make them look real but still obviously fake. They did their job though if you believe it's real.

The bedroom scenes were well done, but the film did not move me or make me believe the characters were real. It lacked something that Ang Lee flicks normally have. Cannot really put my finger on it.

If what you say is true, then those actors/actresses have me fooled as well! It's safe to say that Tang Wei was indeed naked right?

I've watched the movie couple of times and I'm still not convinced that the bedroom scenes are fake. They looked just as real as the scenes in 9 songs.

I forgot to ask, does anyone here know what the differences are between the HK and Korean releases? I just got my friend to buy the HK version and ship it to me.
