I know someone out there knows what is going on with my DLP. I have had my DLP for two years now and loved it. I just had to replace my lamp for the first time and it was not that hard to do. Now what is happening is after 5 min. my screen goes blank only on the right side and the left side I have the picture. It will do the same weather I have the Xbox on or Cable box on. I trun off the tv for a min. then restart it and it is ok for a while somtimes it is ok for hours and other times just for five min. Please let me know what to do.

If half of the screen goes black it is usually the result of the dlp chip going bad. The repair is about the value of the tv and unless you have an extended warranty it may not be worth fixing.
