Hey All,

I've just moved into my small flat and want to buy a projector for our small sitting room. We want to be able to watch DVDs and play Xbox etc and will project the image length ways from one side of the room onto the opposite white wall.

Considering I live in the UK and will be looking for the best for around £500 mark - taking into consideration lumen/resolution and bulb life what would you recommend?

Here are some that I've seen around that price range:
Optoma HD700x Projector
Optoma HD65
Optoma DVE -100
Sharp XR - 30X
Epson TW680
Epson EMP-TW20 Dreamio LCD Home Projector

What do you guys recommend?

Many thanks

Mitsubishi HC1500/1600 definitely...however not sure if they are available for you or not?

From your list only, the HD65.
If you will project a lot of 4:3 content then consider the Sharp XR30X.

I agree unless you need a 2x zoom or lens shift, then go with the Epson 680
