The thread would make more sense if your channel lineup was limited to say 5 or 10 channels.

I'm just curious to know what you will do with this information or why you want it.

That will be the day; when carriers start offering ala-carte cable/satellite packages.

In order of most watched

Comedy Central (HD)
HBO (HD)
Discovery (HD)
Spike TV (HD)
ESPN (HD)
Food Network (HD)
Travel Channel (HD)
Cartoon Network (HD) - Adult Swim anyone
F/X (HD)
E! (HD) - gotta love The Soup :)
VH1 (HD)
ALL LOCALS (HD)

I get most of this stuff in HD now on TWC but a lot is in stretch-o-vision.
They just need to pick up Comedy, Spike, F/X and Cartoon and I will really be happy.

--EDIT--

According to this thread TWC is launching E! (HD) by the end of year

Channels I would actually pay for:

MTV or similar channel with ALL MUSIC VIDEOS and maybe some concerts thrown in, but no "Real World" or other crap that has nothing to do with music!

An all-movie channel showing everything in its original theatrical version, including proper aspect ratio and NOTHING intruding during the movie, not even during the end credits. There could be a few of these, like one that shows just about everything (like when HBO started out), another dedicated to art-house stuff, one for classics, etc.

Vintage/classic porn channel with 50s-70s peep-show loops and 35mm features from before the industry went straight-to-video.

Maybe another channel with some newer and current porn too; porn is good! :)

A "Time-Warp TV" channel, running TV shows from the pre-VCR era (circa 1975 to the beginning) EXACTLY as they were originally broadcast, including all original commercials and other stuff! (This wouldn't ruin the actual show since the networks had respect for their viewers back then, commercial breaks usually weren't even more than a minute long.)

Channel for short-subject films and similar stuff.

All-cartoon channel- like how Cartoon Network started out only better.

***ALL CHANNELS with NO BUGS, not even onscreen IDs during shows lasting a few seconds (I'll tolerate that on broadcast TV, but not on anything I'm paying for) and absolutely NO COMMERCIALS (except on the Time-Warp channel, where they're more for entertainment and nostalgia anyways). I was shocked when I got to watch MTV back in '83 and they went to a commercial break like a regular TV station- I've always refused to pay for ad-supported TV and I'm disgusted that so many people have fallen for it!

All your dream channels are belong to me.

I thought about a limit of a dollar value per channel, but I was lazy and wanted to get the idea posted when I did rather than forget it later.
