My room is 20x20 with 8 ft ceilings. (Total light control)

Can I use a 135 inch fixed Elite with good/great results?
How far back is the recommended projector mount, from the screen?
Any Purchase/Setup tips?

search, you need to use the projector calculator for that particular projector. Have you done any research yet?

Welcome to the forums. btw, you should be able to get excellent results.

You will need to mount so that the lens is about 13.5 to 28 feet from the screen to throw 135". 18 feet is about the middle of the lens zoom.

Estimated Foot Lamberts at 13.5 feet is about 15, 18 feet it is 11, and at 28 feet it is 9.

If you ceiling mount at 14 to 16 feet you should be great but even if you shelf mount on the back wall, in a totally dark room, you should be good to go!

As far as purchase tips, give the forum sponsors a call, tell them you hang out at AVS, and see what they can do for you.
