Ok I know there are alot of these threads, so sorry ahead of time but I need some help.

I am looking for pj under $1k for dvds/xbox/bluray/hdtv.

-complete light control
-ceiling mounted 19' from a 110" screen
-PJ hangs at 8 feet high and the top of the screen is 7 feet
-seating is 12'-15' back

I can't move the projector more than a foot or two forward (and would prefer to not move it at all) due to a ceiling fan. The HC1500 and DT-510 don't look like they will work due to the throw distance. I can't lower the projector anymore as it hangs above the doors to enter the room. I could build a shelf for it back there at the same height (I think this would make it even more difficult though?)

I am also thinking about building a wider screen for a poor man's CIH when watching 2.35 movies. You can see pics of the room in my signature. I have an old lcd projector right now but it seems like DLP would be better for me if I can find one that works in my room, I don't have a preference though as I really don't have any frame of reference except what I read here.

I suggest the Epson HC720 (http://www.visualapex.com/Epson/Projector-Specifications.asp?For-The=Home-Cinema-720). It's $1200 but comes with a $100 rebate and a rebate for a $350 bulb (which you will eventually need or you can sell on ebay). So the projector itselfends up costing $750.

You can look at the Benq 500w, thats the one I am eyeing right now.

The Epson looks pretty good from everything I can find on the forums, is there any DLP option that is worth looking into that work in my room?
