I need a list of Anime with english subs available in Japan, and list of Japanese horror (ghost-type).
Don't know what anime to buy, since never watched it, looking forward for GiS, and noticed that on SAG in BD SCans thread there's eng subs.

Asian blu-ray guide is excellent, but I'm dying to know what's up with some of the Japanese re-releases (whether new transfers or just a release without the DVD included), particularly for "Innocence" (Ghost in the Shell II).

Innocence is a new encode (AVC and TrueHD + DTS-HD instead of MPEG2/LPCM). The other BV re-releases like Metropolis, Steamboy etc etc AFAIK are the same, just without the included DVD this time.

That's great news (well, at least for "Innocence", my personal fave)! Has it actually been reviewed somewhere, English subs confirmed?

Yes, and Asian Blu-ray Guide indicates that the new "Innocence" will also have English subs. But, you know how it is, just want to be sure, especially given the premium to import Japanese discs!

That aside, any other Japanese must-have Blu-rays I should order when I get "Innocence"?
