Recently I've been noticing what appears to be rows of pixels that are offset to the left or right by 1 or 2 pixels, at the very top of the image on my SP4805 projector. These occur in groups, so like the first 20 rows of pixels will be in one direction, then the next group of 15-20 rows is offset the other direction, back and forth for maybe the top 70 rows or so of pixels. This makes vertical elements on the screen appear jagged at the top.
On 2.35:1 movies this is up in the black bars, so no big deal, but is readily noticeable on 16:9 images.
I purchased this projector back in November 2005, still on the original bulb, and have never done anything regarding firmware updates or anything of that sort.
Anyone ever seen this before?
