My symptoms are:

- TV turns on sometimes with 3 lights blinking and blank screen.
- Pressing power on TV or remote refuses to turn TV off.
- Unplugging the TV and replugging assuredly brings the picture back
- NOTE: I don't recall the picture being dimmer but maybe thats a gradual process I never noticed. I'm hoping this is a simple bulb replacement issue but want to know for sure before investing $150.

I would like to know if simply replacing the bulb will fix this (as all 3 lights are blinking when the TV does not power off and remains on a blank screen). However, I do not think the picture was dimming before this so want to make sure buying the $150 bulb replacement will fix this before I make the purchase.

Unfortunately, this problem occurred a few days after a kid at my daughter's bday party pushed the TV a few inches back on our stand. I am not sure how much force he used. Hopefully, if the above symptoms are simply because of an old lamp, I will go ahead and spend the $150.
