I just got a HL61A750 and all I have to say is wow, this thing is amazing.

I put the newest bios file from the Samsung site on my flas drive, but when I have it check, it doesn't find it :( I even deleted everything else off of it.

Would the TV be updated already since it's new? Or am I doing something wrong? Can I check to see which bios it's running?

hey i got the same TV 3 weeks ago! i think they ship with the newest firmware.

Best rule of thumb to follow is update only when you find a major problem. I did update mine however because it had the 1004 firmware and I didn't want to end up with my TV turning on and off by itself..
