I am setting up a multizone setup

Objective :
1)Connect 6 pairs of speakers to a single source.
2) Use Volume control knobs in every room to control the volume independently.

Current Implementation :

1) 2 Pairs (Left & Right) from Source to the Impedence mathcing zone selector.

2) Run 2 pairs from Zone -1 from the zone selector to the volume control knobs (goes into input)

3) (From the output of vOlume control knob) Run 2 pairs to the left and right 8 ohm speakers

4) Repeat the same step for all other 5 zones.

Questions :
1) Is the setup OK in terms of impedance matching etc/

2) Can I use both the volume control knob and the zone selector in the same connection.

I have several questions more, but i will start with this.

Greatly appreciate if the Audio Gurus please help me.
