Question: When mixing your 5.1 audio do you create a separate stereo mix off of the console or do you let the encoder fold down the audio to the LT-RT?

This question is geared toward those who mix in Dolby 5.1 as opposed to Circle surround... Not that I have a problem with CS, but the way stereo is derived for CS is different than Dolby and the question does not really apply...

I have my theories about it, but I would like to solicit the opinion of others...

Although this question is geared toward audio pros, anyone can chime in...
