BODY HEAT! Great film, recently shown in HD on one of the Voom channels. This one is soft. There is not a lot of detail there, so be ready for that.

Hopefully this will come in just a standard disk release. I find myself not wanting the fluff with these releases these days especially with things in my top 5 of all time like this

Did you see Xylon's Casablanca screen cap thread? Unfortunately with things rebuilding I can't link to the thread right now. However I do recall details (it is black and white).

If you're referring to Voom, that might be the fault of HD-lite rather than the transfer or the movie.

I agree, Barry is a personal favorite and this soundtrack makes the film IMO...like Kathleen Turner it oozes with sensuality. Anyone who only knows John Barry from the Bond films is missing some terrific movie scores...like The Black Hole, High Road to China, Chaplin and of course Dances With Wolves, among many noteworthy others. (High Road To China, now there's an under appreciated film...Bess Armstrong in her prime!)

Body Heat is indeed very soft with little HD detail. I would put this one just barely above DVD level detail. The contrast is also very poor with any daylight scenes being completely blown out. But it's a great movie and since I never had the DVD, it was a no brainer at WB budget pricing level.
