I bought my AX100 from Visual Apex, and it came with an Extended warranty from GE(it was actually Federal Warranty Service Corp. , but in Ma. it is GE).
My AX100 is getting a bit Hazy/turning a bit brownish, and it sounds like the Blue or Polarizer from what I have read about it.
It also seems to have trouble with really bright areas, like it's blooming(even after calibration)- this has gotten worse as well.
Has anyone used their warranty, I'm hoping for a smooth ride here, but most of these types of things don't go smooth.
The contract states that it does NOT cover:
"LCD panels for minor Pixel illumination issues that do not affect the overall viewing of the panel such as, but not limited to, missing pixels, intermittent pixels, or wrong color pixels"
I would THINK that the discoloration of the image due to a bad Blue panel or polarizer would constitute something that should be covered.
