OK.

all the projectors i dreamed of owning about a year or 2 ago can now be bought for a practical price.

I have a OptomaH30.Its in need of a new bulb.

I was considering getting a older model yamaha.the dpx 1000 or 1100,Or a marantz..just for the digital lense shift option instead of a new bulb

But if im gonna spend around $1500ish..maybe i could get something new.But i doubt id get the lense shift.

Im just curious if anyone has any opinions?new vs old, lense shift vs contrast ratio..bells vs whistles..

I dont really know whats out there for new stuff i havent been on the ball with the current line of goodies out there..

I know this question lacks details..

thx

You have been given good advice. I purchased a Marantz VP-12S4 and am very happy with it. My previous projector was an Epson HC400.
