Just got the 67" Samsung LED DLP. Great TV and picture, just one problem, when the TV is on alone ( no cable or DVD on) the are lines moving bottem to top. This does not happen when Im watching other things, just when TV is on by itself. Is this a problem as I want to get this fixed while under warrenty.

Have you tried disconnecting your connections in back to see if it's coming from one of the inputs or devices connected. Start there. I have no idea if mine does this or not since I don't have the TV On without a signal being sent to it. I only use the HDMI inputs.
When I first turn TV on this happens, when I turn my cable box on it goes away, just thought it weird but overall the TV is great, watched the opening olympics and it was amazing. We also have music channels and when I put it on a music channel (black background) I get the rolling lines.
It sounds like you may have a "noisy" power supply which is producing 60 cycle noise on the screen. I would first try a power line conditioner. If that doesn't eliminate the problem, it might be generated internally by a defective internal power converter, in which case I would replace it. When a friend of mine had a similar problem many years ago, he called the power company to complain. Thanks to his complaint they tracked it down to a dangerous condition on a nearby power line cable that was visibly arcing.
