The blue convergence on my Samsung HCM5525W went out. Neither Perfect Focus nor manually adjusting the convergence from service mode helped. Based on advice I got from tv-forums.com, I replaced the Convergence Module (#AA9501799G). Now I have a different problem: whenever I try adjusting the convergence (Manually, or through Perfect Focus), or entering service mode, the screen shows "SYNC DETECT" in the corner, and no adjustments can be made.

Does anyone have any insight into this??

Ok, I was able to reset the TV through the service menu. This allowed me to at least attempt to change the convergence settings. Now, when I try Perfect Focus, it fails with a 'No Sensor Data' message. However, my original problem (unable to adjust the blue convergence) still exists, so I'm assuming that changing out the convergence board didn't fix it.

Any ideas for next steps?
