I am really looking at the Samsung HL61A750. I was considering the Samsung LN52A750 LCD also. I like to watch Nascar, college football, and college basketball. My wife like gymnastics.

I kept looking at the two at Frys this morning. Of course looking at them in a store doesn't really show the true quality but at the store the LCD looked alot better. But it also comes with a $1,200 premium.

Any thoughts?

DLPs do not suffer from motion lag. LCDs can suffer from motion lag, although the new ones should not be as bad as older ones.

Smaller TVs will usually look better then larger ones, especially in stores. Also, stores seem to do a better job setting up LCD and Plasma models than they do for DLP.

It was real dark where the DLP was set up and the LCD was on the end of an isle facing the very lit part of the store, which was nice because I could look to see how bad the glare was. And it wasn't bad at all. But for $1,200 premium, just hard to justify. I could buy two DLP for the price of 1 LDC plus $200.
