I'm looking for a fairly cheap (yet still decent quality) upscaler/transcoder that will let me play 480i Gamecube/PS2 games on an LCD monitor (I already have a VD-Z3 to handle 480p signals). From what I've read (on these forums and others), the HD Box Pro fits the bill quite nicely. However, I'm a little bit skeptical - the HD Box Pro website is kind of unprofessional, and I'm having trouble finding information about it.

Can any of you confirm that the HD Box Pro will upscale a 480i signal with good quality? And if it is in fact a good product, will ordering it through the HD Box Pro website (hdboxpro.com, I can't post the full URL) provide me with the right power adapters to use it in the US? I'd assume that's what the "add to cart" option with the US flag will give me, but I want to make sure. Thanks for the help!

The quality is good in regard to the price. The low priced doublers available on the 2nd hand market (iScan Pro, Videon Omega One) are significantly better, but twice the price. Ordering on the website is easy and reliable. You won't need any adapters, the unit will be fit to match US power outlets.
