For someone looking for this exact subwoofer, this may be a good deal if the price does not go much higher. $80 shipping doesn't help. Buying used always has some risk.

For those who have no need for exactly a Mirage S12, a brand new Ed A2-300 for $315 delivered may make more sense.

The S12 was considered desireable when it was being closed out for ~$400 delivered new. That has been well over a year when there were few choices at $400.

There is also the Scamp 10 for ~$250 delivered coming in the next few months. The Scamp 10 will handily outperform the S12.

Still, thanks for posting this. There may be someone out there who has need of the Mirage.

How do you know this? The Scamp isn't even out yet? Unless you have heard one? The S12 when it was popular was compare less with Ht and better with music as the Pb12 in many comparisons depending on who wrote them. I thought the Scamp was on par with the Pb10. I've read that on Craigsubs sight. Dunno myself haven't heard one. But to say the scamp would handily out perform the S12 would be saying alot for a sub that ...who has heard???If thats the case I will buy a quad.
