Ok Guys,

I am buying gear for my living/cinema room. I need to help deciding on a projector, screen, speakers (I think I have decided on this) and amp.

Please note that the room layout and feature wall design is attached in a Word Document

Let me begin by giving information on my room and other details:

Room Dimensions:

5.7 meters (18.7 ft) x 5 meters (16.4 ft)

Projector Positioning:

The projector is being positioned 5.3 meters (17.38 ft) from the screen, just off the ceiling. The ceiling height is 8 ft, so the projector will be at approx 7.2 ft

Room Materials:

Walls:
The ceiling is white and so is the wall to the right of the projector. The wall to the left is made up of 3 windows which will have full electric blackout blinds and heavy curtains in front of them.

The walls in front and behind the projector will be in dark, but glossy wood (Macassar Ebony)

Floor:
White Marble, however most the floor is covered with a large rug.

Furniture:
The room has 3 very large 3 seater sofas made of fabric, along with heavy curtains along the left wall.

Preferred Screen Type & Size:

I am looking for an electric screen between 95 and 100 inches. I do not know what sort of gain screen is ideal for this sort of room. I Also do not know who makes the best screens for my budget

Budget:
My budget for the projector and screen is around £10k or $19k US Dollars. I am willing to allow a 15% budget increase if the systems quality goes up substantially.

Use of System:
Movies and Video Games with a Little Music

EQUIPMENT BEING CONSIDERED:

Speakers (5.1 Setup):
- B&W Signature 8NT in walls (3 fronts), with Back Boxes
- Rel B1 sub or 2 Velodyne SPL-1200s
- B&W Signature 7Nt's for Rears, with back boxes

Amp:
Not Yet Decided... Either:
- Denon AVC A1XVA
or
- Rotel 1095 Power Amp and 1069 Processor

Plasma:
Pioneer 50 inch LX 9th Generation

Projectors I am Considering:
- Runco RS-900
- JVC HD100
- Infocus IN83
- Anything Else that you guys recommend.

Projection Screens:
I know very little about screens and do not know how much of my budget should go towards the screen versus the projector. I have been recommended screen research screens. Acoustically transparent screens have not been considered as I have been told they do affect sound quality and dispertion.

Guys, I know a lot of you will say, go and demo the projectors, but I am not able to demo most of these and that is why I need your expertise. I do know that I do not suffer from Rainbows.

YOUR HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
