Ok heres my serup

Samsung LNT4066f
Scientific Atlanta 4250HD(HDMI 1)
Sony BDP300(HDMI 2)
Sansui VRDVD4005(DVD Recorder/VCR)(Component for DVD)(Composite for VHS)
And Cisnet PC(Onboard Grafics)(VGA)
And I'd like to keep it under $1000

Right Sooo i have a couple Questions....
Do i even need a VP with this setup? VHS Looks like crap but i'm sure it does on Every tv hows the built in vp on this TV?
And
Are there VP's out there that will handle this mess of inputs and make sense out of it or am i using too much damn equipment?
And
If you think i need a Scaler would it be worth waiting for the DVDO Edge or is there something second generation i can get cheap(Less the $1000) just cause its old?

Thanks guys any info you can give me is greatly apreciated!

if thats a 40" tv, then no you dont need a seperate scaler/vp. imo.

afaik, it wouldn't help vhs much either.

So video processors are only for Large screen/projection setups? Or does my Samsung have such a great built in scaler that i'll never need anything better?

What i like best about the Sony S-300 was the source direct option...the fact that i don't have to use it onboard processor if i don't want to

You tell us if you think you need one. Do you see artifacts with interlaced sources?
