Which one does OAR and which ones do strech-o-vision? Do any have big annoying logos? #1) Cinemax only because it is going all HD (24x7) next month. #2) Starz is good for OAR, but Showtime (about which you didn't inquire) is the best for OAR. AFAIK, no premiums do stretch-o-vision. They pillarbox 4:3 material (HD and SD). Zodiac is on Showtime HD in full OAR with bars on the top and bottom right now! #3) No logos during the programming that I can think of... clutch69 08-18-08, 08:52 PM I like both HBO and Showtime because of their programming, Starz seems to have the best movies, and Cinemax has some skin flix type shows. I know showtime shows a logo, but it's small and transparent. Just depends on what you like. I honestly can't watch programming on normal cable, because it just doesn't feel as real to me as shows on HBO or Showtime. Perhaps more reading and less posting would serve you well. townofturley 08-18-08, 09:13 PM What premium movie channel offers the best programming in HD? Have you even looked at the schedules of each provider to see which one offers the programming that appeals to you???????? You are going through more public agony over your programming choices than anyone I've ever seen. Is my "best programming" the same as yours? I doubt it. Here's your homework. Go look at the programming schedules for each provider you've mentioned. Then come back and tell us which provider has the programming *****you***** like best. Then we'll continue from there. For what purpose?? Seems like someone posts this identical question, or some unreasonable facsimile, almost every month like clockwork. A five minute search by anyone who was seriously curious would reveal that fairly clearly. We might as well just establish a FAQ, make it a sticky permanent thread on top, and be done with the ridiculous redundancy once and for all, except for edits concerning actual significant changes in the status quo. :( ___________________________________________________ Palladin Chance favors the prepared mind |
