Do panny's if you calibrate say standard mode(which you shouldn't) does it effect the other modes like THX, Game etc or each mode independent?

If you mean a service menu calibration, then no, not unless you use the same color temp preset for the different modes. In the service menu you specify what mode you want to calibrate and what col temp preset you want to calibrate.

Ah I see so if my friend wanted to calibrate my TV in standard mode in color temp normal he would not mess with THX mode warm temp correct?

So if I pay a real calibrator to come to my house and do THX mode warm temp it will be ok and not all goofy because of my friend trying in standard mode normal temp?
