I have just gotten DirectTV - it's great. I love it. I wish I had switched earlier. Only problem is that I have one tv that's sort of in view of the other TV. The remotes are so good that a person in one room is changing the channel in another room. Can I set it up so one remote won't change both TV's. I want to set this up so 3 remotes will be able to be in the same room as 3 receivers and each control one set only. Hope this is in the right place.

You need to set up your remotes for RF, assuming you have RF remotes, you can tell by looking for an FCC sticker on the back. If it has one it's RF. That will marry each remote to one receiver. The on screen instructions are pretty clear but if you have problems go to dbstalk and ask.

Actually, only two would have to be RF. The third one can be IR.

There are also multiple IR codes available for DirecTV receivers, so should you not have an RF remote, or RF capable receiver, you can change your receiver/remote in one room to the 00002 code. All instructions to do this are embedded within the receivers setup-remote menu.
