I am needing to get an amplified Hub for an antenna. I have recently purchased a DB4 antenna through Best Buy and want to run 6 sets (HD convertor boxes) through the 1 antenna. Without such a device the current sets receive only 7 of the 10 OTA stations in my area of the country. I am currently using several passive splitters to get the signal distributed in my home. My house has a Square D multilink box that everything ties into, but the amplified Hub made for that specific box is really expensive (I should have bought it years ago when it was 1/2 the price it is now  ) I was hoping someone might be able to suggest something else a lot less pricey. (the part number I have is SDM38VHIR which I'm finding for about $295 )

If I hook the antenna to any of the boxes to the antenna without the splitters involved, I can receive all 10 OTA channels, so I know the splits are causing the signal loss.

Thanks for the assist in advance.

You're looking for what's called a distribution amplifier, might make it easier to search on past posts on them.

Another option would be a pre-amp at the antenna to boost the signal coming into the house.

I got it!!! I found an amplifier for $35 at Lowes that seems to do the trick. I have all of my sets up and running OTA and working great. All 10 channels. NOw I don't need the expensive distribution amp yet....LOL
